Neil R. Grabois served from 2010 to 2013 as Dean of the Milano School of
International Affairs, Management, and Urban Policy, at The New School in New
York City. From 1999 to 2007, he served as vice president and director for
strategic planning and program coordination of Carnegie Corporation of New York.
From 1988 to 1999, he served as president of Colgate University.
Before becoming president of Colgate, he was for
twenty-five years associated with Williams College, where he was Thomas T. Read
Professor of Mathematics and chairman of the Department of Mathematical
Sciences. He is a graduate of Swarthmore College and received his Ph.D. in
mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania.
His many professional activities include membership on the
board of directors of Swarthmore College and The
Michael Wolk Heart Foundation.
