JFEW Alumna, Mahoua Kane, just graduated from Lehman College, and is about to take the MCAT so she can apply to medical school next year!

Her advice to future and current scholars is, "College can definitely test your determination and patience in a multitude of ways. But every time you feel like you cannot do something, ask yourself, 'Why did I decide to do this in the first place?' The realization of your ultimate goal will allow you to continue striving. Plus, you MUST find a mentor, whether it is at your home, school, or someone who has walked the path that you want to engage on."
