Juliet is a recent graduate of New York University with an M.A. in Math Education. She now works at Williamsburg Prep High School where she is teaching science to students with special needs. She has also founded an urban farming program to help students understand the changing relationships between science, culture, food, and health. In 2014, Juliet presented at the Earthwatch Summit at Harvard University, where she organized workshops for Earthwatch Fellows on expeditions in Ecuador and the Arctic.
Her advice to current JFEW scholars is, “Creating projects for the good of the community is just as important as doing well in school academically. Decide if you’re more of a planner or doer, then find someone to collaborate with who is strong in your area of weakness.”
