Marcia S. Goldsmith, a Hunter College graduate, has been a
Board Member of the Jewish Foundation for the Education of Women for over 60
years. She was the first woman president of JFEW in the 20th century. Her
late husband Warren's
family were founders of the then Hebrew Technical School for Girls ultimately
to become JFEW--its purpose being the same---assisting women, through
education, to become independent.
Passionate about education, Marcia has promulgated her
interest in two other organizations of which she is past president.
